    MD/Chief Executive Officer
    Collins Khanoba is the Managing Director of Cloverleaf Microfinance Bank (MFB), where he oversees the bank's operations and implements its strategic vision. Prior to his current role, he briefly served as the Managing Director at Olive MFB in 2024, focusing on strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency, grow the loan portfolio, maintain high portfolio quality, and enhance customer service. From 2017 to 2023, Khanoba was the Chief of Operations at Letshego Microfinance Bank (MFB), leading the transformation of the bank from a traditional branch-centric model to a digital financial provider. He also held the position of Head of Partnerships, where he drove collaborations that increased the bank’s market presence. Before his tenure at Letshego, Khanoba was the Managing Director at Crossover MFB from 2016 to 2017, during which he expanded the branch network, improved service offerings and returned the bank to profitability. He was also part of the executive management team at Lafayette MFB, where he grew the loan portfolio from ₦600 million to over ₦2 billion while keeping non-performing loans below 5%. On the international front, he worked with FINCA Tanzania as the Deputy Chief Operating Officer in 2013, as well as serving as the Sales Implementation Manager at FINCA Zambia before returning to FINCA Nigeria Owerri as the DCOO. Khanoba began his career at AB MFB as a Loan Officer and quickly advanced to Branch Manager and Regional Manager from 2008 to 2012. He holds an MBA in Financial Management and a BSc in Economics. He is recognized Certified Microfinance Bank Practitioner, Certified Risk Manager, and Certified Management Consultant, which reflects his qualifications in that specific field. Khanoba has further distinguished himself by obtaining a variety of certifications that showcase his expertise and broad knowledge base. These include certifications in Business Growth Strategy from the University of Virginia, Marketing Analytics from Macquarie University, Strategic Management from Copenhagen University, and Digital Product Management from the University of Virginia. He has also acquired certifications in Financial Investment and Risk Management from St. Petersburg University, Digital Competition in Financial Services from the Copenhagen Business School, and Managing as a Coach from the University of California, Davis. Furthermore, he is an Agile Certified Product Owner and Product Manager (POPM) SAFe, and has completed a course in Brand Management from the University of London, among others. Khanoba's diverse background, marked by his progressive roles and educational achievements, positions him as a visionary leader equipped to drive innovation and growth in the microfinance sector.
